Clinic, dental and private-practice website design
Make care easier to understand. Make the next step clear.
I build clinic and dental websites that explain treatments, establish practitioner trust, support appointments and route patient information with the care it requires.
Only routine booking details hereMedical history follows the clinic-approved secure route.
Appointment purpose and data route remain separate.
The short answer
Explain the treatment. Respect the information.
I design websites for private clinics, dentists and independent healthcare practices. A typical complete project is £1,700 - £2,800 and usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
The website can explain services, present clinicians, support appointment requests and connect approved systems. Health-history or triage fields are only built after the practice agrees the purpose, lawful route, access and retention.
Start with the patient route
Where does the current journey create risk or delay?
Choose the closest problem. The recommendation, checks and useful starting price change with it.
Use the practice diary
What do empty appointments remove each year?
Set the average appointment value, empty slots each month and the number that reminders, deposits or a clearer route could realistically protect.
Illustrated empty-appointment value
Illustration, not a revenue promise. It assumes the selected appointments are genuinely retained or protected and excludes refunds, treatment costs, rescheduled slots and capacity limits.
The form is not the data policy
Send each kind of information to the right place.
Health information may be special-category data. The practice remains responsible for its lawful basis, processor choices, clinical workflow and retention decisions.
Read the ICO guidance on health data ↗Only fields the practice has justified and assigned.
Not left waiting in a general website inbox.
What the website must achieve
Trust needs evidence. Action needs a safe route.
A useful clinic website answers the patient’s immediate questions without pretending the page can diagnose them.
Explain treatments clearly
Purpose, consultation route, pricing approach, preparation and next steps use practice-approved language.
Make clinicians verifiable
Roles, qualifications, registrations and areas of work are structured for patients to check.
Reduce routine booking calls
An appointment booking system can handle supported appointment types.
Answer the local search
Treatment, clinician, location and practical-access pages help patients and search engines understand the practice.
Educate without confusing the record
General opted-in updates can use a newsletter system for website £300 - £600. Clinical recalls stay separate.
Request feedback carefully
Review follow-up can be timed without exposing treatment details. The current automation range is £300 - £600.
- 01Practice supplies the evidence
- 02Clinician checks clinical accuracy
- 03Claims and imagery are approved
- 04The published version is recorded
A polished claim is still a claim
The website should not invent a clinical outcome.
I build the structure and make evidence understandable. The practice approves clinical accuracy, qualifications, claims, risks and patient imagery before publication.
- Before-and-after imagery must be genuine and appropriately consented
- Treatment benefits are not written as guarantees
- Registration and professional details are shown where relevant
The patient route
One clear answer, then the right next step.
Health and medical work
Relevant clinic and dental experience. No invented performance claims.
My experience includes work connected with these UK health and dental names. They are shown as relevant references without performance figures that I cannot evidence.
UK Smiles
Dentisti Romani
Derma Cure Clinic
These are project references, not full case studies. I only publish result claims when the evidence is approved and publishable.
Transparent starting points
Price the patient route, not a treatment-page count.
The typical range is one combined project price, not every standalone figure added together. Practice systems, locations and data routes can move it above the range.

Appointment types, availability, confirmations and provider checks.
Quoted after the destination, data fields, access and retention are agreed.
2 to 4 weeks. Treatment count, clinicians, systems, data routes, content review, photography and locations change the quote.
Ask for a scoped priceFrom practice map to launch
The routes are agreed before forms are built.
Map the patient journey
Treatments, clinicians, locations, appointment types, questions and urgent boundaries.
Approve data routes
Fields, purpose, lawful basis, processor, access, retention and practice responsibility.
Build and review
Design, approved clinical content, booking handoff, local search and mobile testing.
Test and release
Complete appointment and form tests, confirm notifications, train staff and launch.
Different discipline, same trust decision
Built for independent health practices.
Dental, physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, podiatry, dermatology, private GP, optician, audiology, counselling, nutrition and veterinary practices each need specific content and information boundaries.
The form, claims and booking route are scoped for the actual discipline rather than copied from another clinic. Before the clinic build
Clinic website questions.
Can patients book clinic appointments online?
Yes. Patients can choose supported appointment types, locations, clinicians and available times where the selected practice system provides a dependable connection. Confirmation, cancellation and reminder routes are tested before launch.
Can the website collect medical history or symptoms securely?
It can connect or build an agreed route, but health information needs more than a secure-looking form. The practice must first decide the purpose, lawful basis and relevant special-category condition, processor, access roles and retention. Urgent concerns should follow a practice-approved urgent route rather than wait in a general inbox.
What should a first clinic enquiry form ask for?
Usually the minimum needed to reply: a name, contact route and non-clinical question. Medical history, symptoms and triage information should not be added to a general form merely because the fields are easy to build.
Can it connect to our current practice-management or booking system?
Often, if the provider supports an authorised embed, link, API or another reliable integration route. I inspect appointment types, availability, account access, data flow and provider limits before confirming the connection. I do not promise that every closed practice system can be integrated.
Can patients receive appointment reminders automatically?
Yes, where the agreed booking or messaging system supports them. The timing, sender, cancellation route and content are configured around the clinic workflow, while clinical recalls remain in the appropriate practice system.
Can the clinic take booking deposits or cancellation payments?
Yes. Supported appointment routes can take fixed or percentage deposits and show the relevant cancellation and refund terms before payment. The standalone deposits and card-payments module is usually £300 - £500.
Can staff update treatments, prices and clinician profiles?
Yes. The editing route can be kept straightforward for authorised staff. Responsibilities are agreed so the team knows which information belongs on the public website, in the booking system and in the clinical record.
Who is responsible for GDPR and the lawful use of health data?
The practice remains responsible for its purposes, lawful basis, special-category condition, notices, access and retention decisions. I implement the agreed technical route and can explain the data flow, but the website build is not legal advice or a substitute for the practice’s own governance.
Can you write clinical claims and treatment outcomes for us?
I can structure and edit supplied material so it is understandable, but the practice must provide supporting evidence and approve clinical accuracy, qualifications, risks and promotional claims. Treatment benefits are not written as guaranteed outcomes.
Can we publish patient before-and-after photographs?
They can be published when they are genuine, appropriately consented, relevant and approved for the intended use. The page should not imply that one patient’s result is guaranteed for another, and generated images should not pretend to be real treatment results.
How much does a clinic or dental website cost?
A typical complete clinic project is £1,700 - £2,800. A website foundation starts from £1,100, appointment booking is usually £700 - £1,200, and appointments with agreed forms start from £700. Treatment count, clinicians, locations, content review and system connections affect the quote.
How long does a private-clinic website take to build?
Most complete clinic and dental projects take 2 to 4 weeks once content, system access and approval responsibilities are available. Multiple locations, complex integrations, new photography and clinical-content review can extend the schedule.
