SEO and search visibility
Be useful where customers look for an answer.
Google results, Maps and AI answers rely on different signals, but they all need a clear, credible business behind them. I find the missing layer and improve the route from search to enquiry.
The aim is a useful route, not a vanity position.
Start with the symptom
Where does the route lose your customer?
Choose the closest problem. The recommendation explains the first sensible piece of work, without pretending every business needs the same monthly package.
One question, three surfaces
Being visible is no longer one blue link.
The same customer may read a normal result, compare the map pack or ask an AI assistant. Select a surface to see what earns attention there.
What helps in Google results
A page that answers this exact need
A useful page, a clear title, sound technical structure and evidence that the business can do the work.
The visibility stack
More content cannot rescue a missing foundation.
I work from the bottom up. Each layer makes the next one more useful, and the enquiry at the end remains part of the SEO job.
Reachable
Indexing, speed, mobile access and clean technical signals.
Relevant
A page and message that genuinely match the search.
Credible
Specific work, reviews, consistent facts and useful references.
Persuasive
A clear next action with tracking that confirms what happened.
Google Maps
Local proof has to agree.
The profile, location, services, website and reviews should reinforce one another. I correct the foundation and create a practical routine for keeping it current.
- Categories, services and business details
- Website pages that support the local offer
- Review request and response route
AI search
Clear facts beat magic tricks.
AI systems choose and summarise sources in ways nobody can guarantee. I make the business easier to understand through structured data, consistent identity and genuinely useful expert pages.
- Service, business and FAQ structure
- Specific answers backed by visible expertise
- No fake citations or guaranteed mentions
Two kinds of demand
Build durable visibility. Buy attention only when useful.
Content and organic search compound slowly. Google Ads can bring qualified visitors sooner. They are clearer when treated as two different tools with the same conversion measurement.
Content and organic search
Own useful pages that can answer searches for months or years.
£400 - £800Google Ads
Test demand now, with budget, exclusions and conversions visible.
£350 - £700Advertising spend is paid directly to Google and remains separate from setup or management.
A useful monthly rhythm
Measure, improve, wait long enough to learn something.
Search work needs enough time for a change to be discovered and evaluated. The rhythm avoids random activity that produces reports but no learning.
See what is true now
Queries, pages, local visibility and useful actions.
Remove the clearest obstacle
Technical, content, local or conversion work.
Add one useful signal
A better page, answer, profile update or campaign.
Read the result honestly
Keep, revise or stop based on evidence.
Guide prices
Start with the missing piece. Continue only when useful.
These ranges cover focused setup or improvement work. I check the website first and confirm scope before anything chargeable begins.

Content volume, advertising spend and paid third-party tools are separate and visible. Larger or highly competitive searches are scoped after the baseline.
What you will and will not be sold
Clear work, visible evidence, no ranking theatre.
Search platforms change and competitors move. I can improve the inputs and measure the business route, but nobody can own or guarantee a search position.
- No guaranteed number-one rankings
- No bulk pages written only for search engines
- No hidden advertising margin
- No unexplained traffic chart presented as a result
- You keep the pages, accounts, data and access
Before search work starts
SEO and visibility questions.
Can you guarantee a number-one Google ranking?
No. Nobody controls Google results, and rankings vary by query, location, device and search history. I improve the parts we can control, explain the evidence and measure whether the work produces useful visits and enquiries.
How long does SEO take?
Technical fixes can be completed quickly, but search engines need time to recrawl pages and assess changes. Local and less competitive searches may move sooner than broad competitive ones. I set a realistic review point after seeing the starting position rather than promising a universal date.
Do I need ongoing monthly SEO?
Not always. A stable local business may first need a one-off foundation, better service pages or a corrected Google profile. Ongoing work is useful when competitors, content, services or campaigns keep changing. There is no compulsory retainer after a one-off job.
What happens before you change the website?
I establish a baseline, check indexing and technical access, review the searches and pages that matter, and confirm what will be changed. That prevents content or technical work from starting without a clear reason.
Can you improve an existing website you did not build?
Usually, yes. I work with WordPress, HTML and bespoke websites. The first check confirms whether I have safe access and whether a platform, hosting or code limitation changes the sensible route.
What is included in Google Business Profile work?
I review the business details, categories, services, location signals, website relationship, images and review route. The exact work depends on whether the profile is new, incomplete, suspended or simply inconsistent with the website.
Can you make ChatGPT or another AI recommend my business?
I cannot guarantee a mention in any AI answer. I can make the business easier to understand through consistent facts, structured data, useful expert pages and clear evidence. Those improvements also support ordinary search and customer trust.
Is AI search optimisation different from normal SEO?
Some presentation and discovery patterns differ, but the sound foundation is similar: accessible pages, clear entities, specific expertise, consistent business facts and trustworthy sources. I treat AI visibility as an additional surface, not a secret replacement for good SEO.
Do you write articles and service pages?
Yes. I can research the topic map and create service pages, articles and supporting social posts in your voice. Content is designed to answer a real customer question and lead to a useful action, not simply reach a word count.
Do you manage Google Ads?
Yes. I can set up or repair campaigns, exclusions, landing pages and conversion tracking. Advertising spend is paid directly to Google and stays separate from my setup or management price.
What results will I be able to see?
The useful measures depend on the route, but normally include relevant search impressions, qualified visits, local actions, enquiries, calls, bookings or sales. A larger traffic number on its own is not treated as a business result.
Will I keep access to everything?
Yes. Website pages, Google accounts, advertising data, reports and access remain yours. There is no hidden advertising margin and no licence switch that disables completed search work when a monthly arrangement ends.
