White-label development for agencies
Your agency owns the relationship. I make the difficult build happen.
Bring in senior website and systems capability without another salary or another account manager. I work behind your brand, protect your client relationship and deliver directly to the person who approved the brief.
NDA-ready. Invisible by default. Fixed scope, hourly, daily or reserved-capacity work.

Agency need
Your agency has won the account and needs a dependable technical delivery partner for the complete website.
- Your agency supplies
- Client relationship, approved brief, brand direction, content decisions and consolidated feedback.
- Ernest delivers
- Technical planning, WordPress or bespoke build, responsive implementation, integrations, testing and handover.
Delivery boundary
Fixed project quote after a complete brief, with changes estimated before work expands.
One client-facing owner
You keep the account. I keep delivery moving.
The end client buys from your agency. You control the proposal, relationship, price and final approval. I invoice your agency for the agreed work and do not ask what you charge.
- Challenges technical gaps before quoting
- Builds against the agreed acceptance points
- Flags risk, dependency and delay early
- Tests and records the work
- Hands over code, access and practical notes
Capability without another hire
Use me for the work your current stack cannot absorb.
A complete build, a difficult integration or the awkward job nobody has time to diagnose can use the same accountable delivery route.
WordPress builds
Custom themes, existing builders, block editing, plugins and complex content structures.
WooCommerce
Product catalogues, checkout changes, stock connections, feeds, payments and marketplace links.
PHP and bespoke sites
Existing custom PHP, databases, inherited code, migrations and contained modernisation.
React and Node.js
Interfaces, services, MVPs, dashboards and custom workflows when WordPress is not the right fit.
APIs and business systems
CRM, booking, payment, email, invoicing, customer records and third-party integrations.
Repair and performance
Broken sites, hacked installations, hosting changes, difficult bugs and measurable speed work.
- 01
A reasonable NDA can be signed before the sensitive brief is shared.
- 02
My name, credit and branding stay out of client-facing delivery.
- 03
The work is not added to my portfolio without written permission.
- 04
I do not approach or solicit the agency’s client.
- 05
Client contact happens only when you request and control the introduction.
Confidential by default
Your client does not become my sales opportunity.
Most work stays entirely behind the scenes. If technical detail is easier to resolve in a client call, I join only after you ask, under the role and communication boundary you set.

Interactive brief check
A fast quote starts with five useful answers.
Select what is already known. Missing items do not prevent a conversation. They show whether the next step is a quote or a short discovery phase.
Handover that survives the project
The agency receives work it can keep operating.
A launch is not a useful handover if the agency cannot find the access, understand the dependencies or explain what changed. Delivery includes the practical record agreed for the scope.
Partner pricing
Choose a rate that matches how clear the work is.
You set the client price and keep the margin. I quote and invoice your agency only. No percentage of your sale is requested.
Fixed project
Quoted after briefBest when pages, functions, inputs, feedback rounds and acceptance points can be fixed before production.
Change requests priced before they expand the workHourly
£45 to £60Best for contained fixes, technical investigation and changing task lists where a fixed outcome cannot yet be promised.
Time boundary agreed before startingDaily
£320 to £450Best for development sprints, inherited code, design implementation and a prioritised group of technical tasks.
Priorities fixed for the booked blockReserved capacity
Agreed monthlyBest for agencies with recurring technical demand that can forecast priorities and reserve a realistic amount of time.
Quoted from workload, response needs and technical mixExternal licences, hosting, APIs, paid services and specialist production are identified separately. They are not hidden inside the development rate.
Broad delivery experience
140+ websites since 2009. One person accountable to your producer.
The public work shows range across websites, ecommerce, multilingual builds, business systems and difficult repairs. Confidential agency work stays absent unless the agency permits disclosure.
Review public work- Wins more development than the current team can safely deliver
- Has strong creative or marketing capability but needs senior technical depth
- Needs one named developer rather than another supplier account layer
- Wants to extend capability without making a permanent hire
Not suitable when the brief hides the real deadline, feedback comes from several uncoordinated people or the expected outcome cannot be discussed honestly.
Before sharing a brief
White-label development questions.
Will my client know you are involved?
Not by default. Ernest’s name, branding, footer credit and portfolio use stay out of the delivery. Client contact happens only when the agency requests it and controls the introduction. The agency remains the visible relationship owner.
Will you sign an NDA before I share the client brief?
Yes, Ernest is willing to sign a reasonable mutual or agency NDA before confidential project information is shared. The exact document still needs review so that its confidentiality, access and delivery obligations match the proposed work.
Who communicates with the end client?
The agency does. It collects requirements, manages expectations, consolidates feedback and gives approval. If a technical conversation would genuinely help, Ernest can join only after the agency asks and defines the role, participants and communication boundary.
Can I add my own margin to your price?
Yes. The agency sets and owns its end-client price. Ernest quotes and invoices the agency only and does not request visibility of the agency’s margin or a percentage of the client sale.
Do you work only with WordPress?
No. WordPress and WooCommerce are core strengths, including inherited and bespoke PHP builds. Ernest can also deliver HTML, CSS and JavaScript front ends, React and Node.js work, APIs, booking and payment routes, portals, automation, AI integrations, repairs and performance work.
How are white-label projects priced?
Defined projects receive a fixed quote after the brief. Variable or investigative work is £45 to £60 per hour, or £320 to £450 for a focused day. Reserved monthly capacity is quoted from the expected workload, response needs and technical mix. External services and approved change requests are separate.
Can you take urgent overflow work immediately?
Sometimes, but availability and diagnosis come before a promise. Send the real deadline, current client commitment, known symptoms, stack and access position. Ernest will say whether the work fits, what can be checked first and where a fixed outcome would be dishonest before investigation.
Who owns the completed work and accounts?
After full payment, the agency or end client receives the agreed bespoke work, practical documentation and access. Domains, hosting and external provider accounts should be held by the agency or client where possible. Third-party software and services remain subject to their own licences.
