A complete local profile

Every visible field should help a customer decide.

Setup is more than filling every box. The details need to be truthful, useful and supported by the business website.

Identity and ownership

Claim or create the correct profile, keep the business as primary owner and use named access for management.

Name and category

Use the real-world business name and the most accurate primary category, without stuffing search phrases into either.

Location or service area

Show a qualifying customer location, or hide the address and define the genuine areas served.

Hours and availability

Publish normal and special hours that customers can rely on, including closures and seasonal changes.

Services and actions

Describe the real offer and connect calls, booking, ordering or website links to a route that works.

Photos and evidence

Use useful current images of the place, people, work or products instead of anonymous stock decoration.

What local visibility depends on

Improve what is controllable. Name what is not.

Google describes local results mainly through relevance, distance and prominence. A credible service improves the inputs without turning them into a ranking guarantee.

Control before optimisation

The profile belongs to the business.

Your business remains the primary owner. Ernest is invited through Google access controls for setup or management, so nobody needs to exchange the main account password.

Reviews without manipulation

Ask every suitable customer. Do not buy the answer.

A simple request link and response routine can make genuine feedback easier. Incentives, fake experiences and positive-only filtering create policy risk and poor evidence for customers.

Diagnose before editing the public record.

Ownership disputes, duplicates and policy problems need a different route from a clean first setup. The first check decides which job this is.

Focused one-off work

Straightforward setup has a range. Problems need diagnosis.

The existing profile and business model are checked before the exact deliverables are fixed. There is no compulsory monthly plan after a one-off job.

Focused setup or improvement£300 - £600one-off, scope agreed after the profile check
  • Eligibility, ownership and duplicate check
  • Accurate identity, category and contact details
  • Location or service-area treatment
  • Services, hours, website and action routes
  • Photo and review-route guidance
  • Verification preparation and handover

Quoted separately: suspension recovery, disputed ownership, several duplicates, multi-location work, substantial website changes, photography, content production, review automation and ongoing management.

The fee pays for correct setup and improvement work. It does not buy verification or a local search position from Google.

Before changing the listing

Google Business Profile questions.

Is my business eligible for a Google Business Profile?

A business normally needs genuine in-person contact with customers during its stated hours, either at a qualifying location or by travelling to customers. Online-only businesses, virtual offices, lead-generation businesses and many property listings are not eligible. Google makes the final decision under its current rules.

Can you guarantee that Google will verify or rank my profile?

No. Ernest can prepare accurate evidence, correct eligible details and guide the verification route, but Google controls approval and local results. Google says local ranking is mainly influenced by relevance, distance and prominence, and there is no way to request or pay Google for a better organic local position.

Should a service-area business show its home address?

Not when customers are not served there. Google instructs service-area businesses to remove the address from the public profile and define specific areas they genuinely serve. The private address may still be needed for verification, but it should not be turned into a public shopfront claim.

Who owns the Business Profile after setup?

Your business should remain the primary owner. Ernest can be invited with the appropriate manager or owner access for the work, so passwords do not need to be shared and access can be removed later. The handover records who owns and manages the profile.

Does the £300 to £600 range include suspension recovery?

Not automatically. The focused range covers a straightforward eligible setup, ownership correction or profile improvement. Suspensions, duplicates, conflicting evidence, several locations, previous policy problems or a large content and photography requirement need diagnosis before a fixed scope is agreed.

Can you help with reviews on the profile?

Yes. A legitimate request and response route can be connected, including the separate reviews automation where useful. Customers must be asked neutrally about genuine experiences. Incentives, selective positive-only requests and fake reviews are not part of the service.

Bring the business name and current profile

Check the facts first. Then improve the route.

Tell Ernest where customers meet the business, whether a profile already exists and who can access it. You will know whether this is a clean setup, an improvement job or a recovery problem before changes are proposed.
